Lazy summer days lend themselves to a whole host of fun activities, our favorite being dinner out with friends.  Today's StyleBlueprint Deal is the perfect enticement to make such plans at 360 Bistro.

Just as the name implies, 360 Bistro has done a complete turnaround from their original concept of the Atlanta based The Grape Wine Bar.  Today, it embraces what we relish most -- an independently owned restaurant with an emphasis on regional cuisine and fine wines.

 

 

Under the watchful eye of owner Nick Jacobson and manager Brett Allen, 360 Bistro is raising the bar with their focus on local purveyors and fresh ingredients.  If you have not had the chance to try the tuna tartare,

it continues to fall into the “best of” category for us. Tweaked ever so slightly from its original presentation, the delicate combination of tuna, lime, wasabi and wontons, melts in your mouth.

 

For those of you who know Nick and Brett, these two aren’t going to let you get out of there without sampling their best wines. With over 1,000 wines to choose from, you’ll discover a nice selection of wine by the glass, rare vintages and unusual flights. Wine Spectator just awarded 360 Bistro a Best of Award of Excellence for 2011 and 2012.  You'll find the staff quite helpful when it comes to selecting the perfect wine for your meal.

 

Back to the food— Chef David Miller was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America, with his most recent role as executive chef of the Angelus, a Ritz Carlton property.  Not only has he participated in cooking events at the prestigious James Beard House, he has numerous culinary awards under his belt.

 

With extensive experience in the Caribbean, Chef David’s entrees, especially the seafood, are imaginative and innovative.  360 Bistro’s menu is sumptuous and varied:  Lump Backfin Blue crab cake, West Indian Steamed PEI mussels with white wine, sambuca, shallots and garlic cream, Roasted wild Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster Brandy Sauce and Grilled Painted dry-aged Black Angus New York Strip Steak.
