Les Filles Boutique, is an women’s accessories boutique located in Westport Village next to the Comfy Cow and Heine Brothers.  They carry many local artisans with handcrafted jewelry, purses, and other accessories.

Les Filles (pronounced “layfee”) owners Cathy Akright and Melissa Murphy-Willis loved to go to local and national art shows and it shows.  They have captured a year-round art show in their boutique.

Each artist has their own personality and their works are all unique.  Unlike mass-produced costume jewelry, artisan jewelry is handcrafted by the artist and is usually made with sterling silver, copper, brass or gold filled metal paired with semi-precious and natural stones. Each piece is imagined and designed by the artist and then carefully created by hand.

These purses are handcrafted from metal, with the Louisville signature Fleur-de-Lis. The necklace is handmade of porcelain. The wrap cloth with metal bracelet is original and right on trend. Les Filles owners are always excited to tell you about how your handcrafted piece was made and where it came from.

These scarves are from Dye Signs by Pamela, a local fabric artist who also works backstage as a Stage Manager at a theatre.

This boutique has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Don’t be shocked if you are greeted by the owner’s dog Hershey.
