MODA Boutique opened in 2008 on a little up-and-coming street called 12 South, and owner Meredith Fidler loves having a business in this hip, trendy neighborhood. (It is even going to be featured in the July issue of Southern Living magazine!)
MODA's mission? Meredith says it best. "We want people to want to feel completely comfortable, and know that when they leave MODA, and wear that new outfit, they look great. We treat customers as friends, in that we are 100% honest with them. If something doesn't look right, we'll tell you, and we'll help you find something that looks amazing on you. We would rather earn your trust, and have you as a repeat customer, than close a sale on an item that doesn't make you look your best. We don't want MODA tags hanging on clothes in your closet. If the clothes have tags, that means you're not wearing them.”
Her customers agree:
Regina Seider: "Whether I need a knockout dress for a night on the town, or a casual top and jeans for brunch with friends, MODA always has the perfect look." Suzie Thompson: "I always find the perfect outfit for every occasion at MODA. The shopping experience there is always a pleasure, and I know I will never leave with anything that doesn't look good on me. Meredith and Clare provide the highest level of customer service from the minute you walk in the door. I get constant compliments whenever I wear clothes from MODA. Nikki Fernandez: "I shop at MODA because it's more than a shopping experience. Whether it's ‘comfort’ shopping, a gift, a pool party, or dinner, they have it all. I always know I'm leaving with what is unique to me. MODA is a one-stop shop for style, comfort, and a whole lotta fun - within my budget."
